Gender, Love, and Caring for Bodies

Just as Lilith was united with Adam in the garden, the Other God was united with the Ancient of Days prior to the existence of the distinctions of good and evil. Existing primordially, god was shaped as we are shaped primordially: curled in a circle like a child in the womb. The other side clung without distance and there was no distinction between depths and heights. This Other God was the secret of knowledge, and it was this knowledge which originally fell. As this happens god stands upright, emerging from their gestation. This is a natural and traumatic development which happens through god's choice. The distance between the Other God and the Ancient of Days is like a depth, and this is the first distance and depth of god. By bringing knowledge back to the head which has moved through the body, totality is brought to self-understanding. This is the process by which god realizes their self.

By standing upright, god's writhing became expansions and contractions, churning became generative and developmental. The heights and the depths were then unbounded. This was god stiffening their spine and taking up space; it was also the occultation and descent of the Other God, split from the Ancient of Days. With this development of the divine body the Other God and the Ancient of Days were no longer beside one another, but, looking at each other with distance, each saw the other beneath them. To bring them close together into conversation again, lips beside lips, is to bring them properly face to face, and this was necessary because first they were back to back, unable to look upon each other or themselves in their circular symmetry. Standing upright precedes expansion or a contraction, and it is thus neither generative nor developmental. It is a move from closedness to openness, and openness allows for generation and development. Contraction is a generation and expansion is a development.

The Ancient of Days within god contracted themselves in front of the Other God so that she may expand, and so she revealed him which was Lily (Lilith and Shekinah). Shekinah started from much higher, going down with Lilith as the first messiahs, but this would be the first letter he would write asking his beloved to reach back up to him. It would start small. A part of himself would adore a part of herself, acting as a seed, which would sprout into their union and communion. The basis of this contraction would be the gestating form, which would be closed and empty like a circle, which develops interiority by humbling itself. Then this contracted little man, Yahweh, would rest his legs on the floor, rooted upon an earth. In these expansions and contractions, gestation and standing, sephirot and partzufim shift their gender roles, trade partners, and wander in the shifting alignments within god.

Shekinah being restored to her place within god and raised on the level with Yahweh, the next task is to raise the Other God up, on the level with the Ancient of Days. This is why Eve was made from the left rib of Adam. The left rib is like gevurah, which is like Imma when totality is contracted like a little man. The separation of Eve is like the descent of the Other God, which has left a vacancy within the divine body. This natural and traumatic development left god disabled, and this is why restoring every gender as well as every relationship which is founded on care to their rightful place within god's body. Why two partners, Lilith and Eve? Why two messiahs, Lilith and Shekinah? When god is viewed extensively their left and right side are totality. When god is standing upright their left and right side are as if inverted, as Lilith and Eve were both present within Adam. When god is gestating left and right are aligned, Lilith and Eve become harmonized. To return to the ground which is grounded in everything, the movement of healing, we must take care of god's body.

(Is it the case that Lilith had to fall, that woman had to the fall, that the foreign had to fall? Suppose that originally it was as if undifferentiated in the sea of potentiality, and that the primordial god was like an empty space. Make a cut anywhere and two similar spaces of formed, one the other side of the other. The boundary slice touches woman as it stands, but it could have touched anyone or anything. It is arbitrary, and very important, that this split has touched what it has.)
